What does the lifetime warranty include?

Your service holds a limited-lifetime warranty against any/all defects in workmanship. All products used in service meet or exceed OEM applications & Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Vehicle's warranty is limited to length of legal ownership, [or to first owner for commercial partner sales.] This warranty does not include secondary post-service external damages. Warranty is not applied in the event of pre-emptive damage, rust, or corrosion. This warranty is null if unauthorized repairs occur to the service area OR if invoice is unpaid. If your vehicle pre-emptively contained broken glass PAG will attempt to remove all possible glass, however, there likely may be glass still present. PAG is not responsible for the removal of all glass. To ensure safety, please check for potential glass before allowing any passengers or animals on board.
CAUTION: For all urethane-held installations, to meet Department of Transportation safety specification for automotive urethane retention, your vehicle must not be driven for 1 hour after service or longer if specified. Vehicle should not be washed for 72 hours to prevent bond failure. If rear glass, or rear quarter glass, has been installed do not drive with the windows down for 72 hours. Do not apply any accessories or force to glass for 24 hours after service to prevent bonding separation. Failure to comply will void warranty.

Why wouldn't I want the cheapest option does my windshield matter?

The windshield is often one of the most overlooked components for your vehicle, especially for safety. Without a properly installed windshield, you could experience up to 65% loss in total roof structural strength and up to a 45% loss in structural integrity in a head-on collision. It's imperative to understand the importance of proper installation. Some companies will cut corners to greater their profit, or hire inexperienced employees paying less. Many common issues that arise post-service due to poor installation: water leakage, wind noise; whistling/leakage, inoperable features or broken components (such as rain sensors, wiper washer fluid, automatic headlights, and certain cruise control features) paint damage/rust and so on.

Like many other industries, the customer tends to receive the equivalent of what they paid for. Often the "cheaper guy" is cheaper for a reason, and unfortunately, it's up to you as the customer to understand why and to what doom is pending. - We hope you experience the best with your Auto-glass needs and caution you to ensure a trustable source for your Auto-glass needs.

Does Peninsula Auto Glass offer Military discounts?

We sure do as a thank-you to those who have served or are currently still serving.

All you have to do to receive this discount is provide a prooving phyiscal doccument at time of vehicle service.

Does Peninsula Auto Glass offer Mobile Service?

We most certainly do. Due to our Newport News office location not being sufficient to service at we're a 100% mobile company. Mobile capabilities are included with every service we provide at no additional cost. Our goal is to make your vehicle's glass needs as convenient as possible for you. For a typical glass replacement we're able to come to your home, school, work or wherever you may be for a minimum of 2 hours per service.

How do I go through insurance?

Thankfully is this actually super simple. Give your Agent a call, (or your insurance's customer support line) and let them know you have a broken piece of glass on your vehicle > policy. Let them know you want to use Peninsula Auto Glass of Newport News [VA] and they'll process all the needed documentations to us. Once we receive all necessities from your insurance we'll reach out to you and set up a replacement. You will be responsible for paying your insurance deductible to us, and your insurance will then pay the rest of the service cost. --- Often insurance rates are not adjusted due to a sole glass claim.

Can you fix this?

There's never two situations that are identical. We do everything Auto-glass related. We'd love to help you out with your issue. If you've got a one-off problem, or are unsure call us at 757 508 9350. We're likely going to need a few pictures, which can also be texted to 757 508 9350. We'd be glad to discuss your issue and what we can do to resolve it. Many problems tend to have multiple solutions and we're here to  help you out.

Can my windshield be repaired?

Windshield repair is often available for chips and cracks less than 2". However, the depth, type, and location of the damage will determine the feasibility of a repair. At Peninsula Auto Glass we only offer structural repairs. The resin we use does not make the chip disappear. There will forever be a mark on your glass, often significantly reduced in visibility. The materials used are designed to hold the glass together preventing further movement/expansion. Many chips will fail VA state inspection especially so when in line of sight. Our repairs are guaranteed to not further expand. Should you experience further expansion post-service we will credit the cost of mentioned repair towards replacement.

While preforming the repair process the glass does have a low possibility to crack further. 

Down Deposit(s) - General 

At Peninsula Auto Glass we require a non-refundable down deposit to be taken for every service appointment requiring a part to be ordered. All deposit made subtract from the total cost of service. All transactions (including deposits) maintain to our privacy policy. When a deposit/transaction is made all personal card billing information is cleared from our software after. No member of employed staff, or unbeknownst party is able to access your personal information post-transaction. At time of service, technician(s) do not have access to the previous card. Another, payment would need to be processed; cash, card w/ ID, or check w/ ID.

Should need be to reschedule existing appointment no additional deposit would be required.
